- Yes. SQL DDL generation for all four supported databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle 19c+) and GORM model generation are permanently free with no account required. These features will never be moved behind a paywall — we run a freemium model, not a bait-and-switch.
- Do I need to create an account to use the tool?
- No account is required for the free tier. You can use the web converter immediately and make up to 100 anonymous API calls per month. An account (API key) is only required if you need Developer or Pro tier features or want to exceed the anonymous rate limit.
- What ORM frameworks does the Developer tier add?
- The Developer tier adds SQLAlchemy (Python), TypeORM (TypeScript), Prisma (TypeScript), JPA/Hibernate (Java), Django ORM (Python), Sequelize (JavaScript), and Entity Framework Core (C#). The free tier includes GORM for Go.
- How do I get access to the Developer or Pro tier?

- What happens if I exceed the anonymous API rate limit?
- The API returns a
429 Too Many Requestsresponse with aRetry-Afterheader. Anonymous requests are limited to 100 conversions per month. Upgrade to a Developer key for 5,000 monthly conversions. - Can I use the generated SQL or ORM code commercially?
- Yes, absolutely. Code generated by Diagram2Code belongs entirely to you and may be used in any personal or commercial project without restriction. There are no licensing fees or attribution requirements on the generated output.
- Is the CLI tool also free?
- Yes. The
